Zach Leighton is a strategic advisor with experience across government, diplomacy, campaigns, and business. Leighton served as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Germany at the Department of State. He also served in the White House as Chief of Staff for the Office of the Staff Secretary. In addition to his government service, he has worked on three presidential campaigns, including as Senior Advisor and Traveling Aide to the Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee in 2024 and as New York Deputy State Director for the Biden for President campaign in 2020. In the private sector, Leighton was Chief of Staff at Zeta Global and has advised organizations, executives, and leaders at the intersection of politics, technology, and civic engagement. He is a Munich Security Conference Young Leader and a graduate of Cornell University.
